PRIVACY
What the floor knows about you, why, and for how long. Short version: very little, no tracking, no ads, and no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

WHO RUNS THIS
COIN-OP Industries operates coinop.industries and the rulebook at docs.coinop.industries. Questions, requests and complaints about your data go to [email protected].
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no profiles.
- No third-party fonts or scripts that report your visit. Every font is served from our own server.
- No account is needed to look at the floor, and none is needed to play. Your wallet is how you play.
- We never sell data, and we never ask for your name.
WHAT WE COLLECT, AND WHY
- Server logs. Like every website, our web server records each request: IP address, the page asked for, time, and your browser's user agent. We use them to keep the site running and to stop abuse. They are deleted after 14 days.
- Your wallet address, when you connect a wallet. The address is public on Base. The site reads it in your browser to show your balances, tickets and prizes; it is sent to our server only when you act: launching a cabinet on THE ASSEMBLY LINE, paying THE LINE'S COIN, claiming a creator's cut, posting a reply, or asking THE LINE to draw a picture.
- On-chain activity. To run the boards, tickets, prize draws and the PRIZE COUNTER, our indexer reads public Base transactions on the floor's cabinets and keeps, per wallet address, the trades, holdings and tickets derived from them. That information is already public on the blockchain; we only organize it.
- Replies. A reply you post under a cabinet is signed by your wallet and shown publicly with your address.
- Pictures from THE LINE. If you ask THE LINE to draw a picture for your coin, we keep your wallet address, the text you typed and the resulting image, to enforce the daily limits. Your IP address is used briefly to rate-limit the request and is not stored with it.
- Operator accounts. The back office login holds an email address, a password (stored hashed) and a language preference. It is for the people who run the floor, not for players.
WHO ELSE SEES IT
- Cloudflare carries all traffic to the site (security and delivery), so it processes your IP address and request.
- Blockchain providers. Your browser reads Base through Alchemy and through Base's public endpoint, which see your IP address and the reads made. Transactions you sign are public on Base forever, by design of the blockchain, and the floor's transactions carry COIN-OP's Base builder code so Base can attribute activity to the app.
- Your wallet. The wallet you choose (for example Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, a WalletConnect wallet or a Farcaster client) handles the connection under its own privacy policy.
- Google. The text you type for a picture on THE LINE is sent to Google's image model to draw it. Nothing else goes to Google.
- Coinbase Wallet notifications. If you save COIN-OP in Coinbase Wallet and turn on its notifications, we ask Base's dashboard whether your address has done so and send floor events through it. You switch them off in the wallet.
- Our channels on Telegram, X and Farcaster are run on those services, under their policies.
HOW LONG
- Server logs: 14 days.
- Floor records tied to a wallet address (trades, tickets, draws, replies, launches, pictures): as long as the floor runs, because draws and payouts must stay auditable. Anything written to the blockchain stays there permanently and no one, including us, can erase it.
- Operator accounts: until the account is closed.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Write to [email protected] from the address or with the wallet signature the request concerns. We cannot delete what is on the blockchain; we can remove a reply from the site and the records we keep off-chain wherever the rules of a draw already settled allow it. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
COOKIES AND STORAGE
The site uses one cookie and a few keys in your browser's own storage. None of them tracks you, none is shared with anyone, and each is either needed for something you asked for or remembers a choice. That is why there is no consent banner. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of them.
